Finally finished the CP 19. 5 months and a ton of work, but it turned out great. It's kinda wierd having a thru transom deal, but the wife likes it for the little kids. In fact, the wife is kinda sweating me for a bigger boat, so this might be for sale. Let me know if anyone is interested.
Thanks guys..... I figured if it had thru trans exhaust and a bimini it might as well have a set of steps. If I want it to go back to headers I would have the transom filled anyways. What's another set of holes??????? The boat runs sweet and still has a little snap to it, but a set of lightnings would complete the project.

Thanks guys, the boat was a blast to restore. We took it down to a bare chunk of glass and re-did everything. The motor is a 468 hydraulic pump gas deal built by Ricky Green and it pushes it right at 5k with a tall A imp. I'm sure the logs pull it down, and I haven't leaned on the motor to much yet. Feels real strong and really responds to the diverter (shoe 1/8" above keel). We started it just because the hull was so increadibly clean for an 87, with a little 2000 paper and compound, it looked brand new. I finished at about 9 Pm on friday night of Memorial Day weekend so I didn't have a chance to install the polished Lightning pedal or the billet flame A/R, but I was itchin to get to the river (Willow Valley area). I've always had Cp's and it would be tough to get rid of it, but my old boat is now Sofa King's and it was hard to get rid of that too. I'm sure there will be another one in my future, but the wife wants an open bow tug boat. I would sell it turn key or less motor if anyone is interested. Pump has 2 hours and trailer is a Comp with chrome fenders and new rubber. Jason
