Thumbs up

Maybe I'm a half-full kind of guy...

...but isn't that 70% chance it won't rain?

I think it is still too early to tell the weather out there for next weekend, I looked at 3 different weather sites, weatherunderground said wind at max
6mph.

Just crossing my fingers that it won't be bad. But after seeing what happend up in town last weekend with all that wind, I just won't put the boat in if it's blowing too hard. Can see the Poker Run just fine on top of the Mesa at BML.

Weather man always wrong

Mark out

At what point would the Poker Run be cancelled, if indeed it would be? Wind and rain does not seem to be conducive (sp) to 150+mph boats. Hope its nice! NSF

It's just a little breezy right now on the south side. Headed for the channel around 9:30ish.

Too far away to trust. Besides it does say Isolated T-storms...... Maybe that means they will be Isolated somewhere in the area and NOT Havasu... Temps all look good too.

THINK POSITIVE.... NO BAD CARMA.....

hope the weather is good but if its not we will probally be more entertained. I wouldnt mind seeing some of those boats haulin in some big chop. It would definatly turn into a skill race instead of a motor race. Not saying it doesnt take a whole bunch of skill to go that fast. But Big water is differnt.

You mean Dan will have to actually drive 150MPH+ with his hands on the wheel?

Dusty...don't sweat it- you'll probably still get all the video to yourself.

I know it won't happen, but imagine if the water got real nasty?

The last two years, the SCOPE run was dominated by a big V-bottom. Granted, those guys in the Scarab were NUTS, but...it might be fun to see those cats get schooled by the rough water guys?

Arrow

At the SCOPE run, the guys in the big Scarab had helmets on. I heard they needed it, because they landed so hard a couple times, their heads hit the dash.

I looked at the report on Friday and it said beautiful and around 90 all weekend, then I looked at it again yesterday and it said possible T-storms. That should be interesting with all of the bikers in Laughlin.

No...it would probably have to be a V that can handle rough water.
