used mercruiser alpha gen 1 propshaft w/ no more than 200 hours on it, upper gear-set blew and outdrive was rebuit 100% w/ 2 new shafts before we sold the boat. The drive mechanic said the propshaft (lower/horizontal not vertical shaft) was still "very usable" and should be kept as a spare in case we ever need it.
Well I found it in the garage and the boat is long gone. They are $350+ new and go for $100 or more on ebay used,
I'll sell it to any hotboater for $40 cash so I don't have to ship it. Pick-up anytime In Lake Forest or in Havasu July 1-4 or 14-16
