I am also planning on being at the Poker run. I went down to Long Beach today to check out the launch ramps and etc. so that I would know where I was going when I have the truck and boat. BIG SURPRISE!!! The launch ramp that is just North of the Queen Mary was closed today. The entire area is covered with junk, moss, trees and brush that has washed down the LA river and there is no way anyone would/could put their boat in that mess without clogging up the water intakes.

There was a big crane futher up the river with a boom around some debrie and they were cleaning it up.

My hope is that the whole mess will be cleaned up before Friday, but it sure wasn't today.

It was a nice day down in Long Beach, we just hung out and checked out some of the boats down there, had a few drinks at the Yard House and called it a day.

Looks like alot of fun. Was there any small boats, say around 28 with an open bow out there.

Yes, I think there were quite a few 28' boats and some 25's also.

Hey Nort,
I took quite a few from Clancy's boat at the Catalina card stop. As soon as the dust settles I'll send them to you.
